= Biography =
Dr. Angus F.M. Huang is the Vice President at Management Department of Franklin Templeton Securities Investment Consulting (SinoAm) Inc. Before join the industry, he was an assistant professor at the School of Big Data Management in Soochow University in Taiwan. His research areas are Data Governance, Business Re-engineering, Robo-Advisor, Artificial Intelligence, and Visual Analytics. His research specializes in modeling and mining user context information, and he is devoted to the theories, problems and applications of these areas. He interests in improving students’ and teachers’ teaching and learning with advanced information technology; and making human life more convenient and smarter. In his work he mixes qualitative observations with quantitative data analysis to gain deep insights from user behaviors, data features, and domain knowledge. Subsequently, he exploits the gained knowledge with engineering techniques to improve the Business Intelligence and Urban Computing domains. In his teaching he devoted to inspiring and fostering students’ innovation and entrepreneurship to help them make a real impact.
